Covid-19 : The dead body is kept in the next room, please take it

I am starting the column with a heartbreaking event that reminds me of the Day of Judgment when I hear or read it. On April 6, Narayanganj City Corporation councilor Maqsood Alam Khandaker Khorshed found out over the phone that the body of a 60-year-old man named Aftab Uddin was lying in Jamtala (west side of Tolaram College); But there is no one to bury him. Surprisingly, no one in the family (wife of the deceased, children) went to the body of Aftab Uddin on suspicion of coronavirus death.

It is to be noted that according to Facebook and newspapers, many bodies are being buried due to deaths in Corona where the wives and children are not coming forward for cooperation. Whether man does it for the happiness of wife, children and family (!), But in bad times when man becomes a corpse, no one comes to his aid. Such a tragic scene is reminiscent of verse 6 of Surah Bakara. In that verse Allah says, “Fear the Day when no one will be of any use to anyone and no one’s intercession will be accepted, no compensation will be accepted from anyone and they will not receive any help.” However, the coronavirus has appeared on the earth as a sample of the Resurrection (!)! The coronavirus overpowered the world’s great powers, while the virus is so tiny that it cannot be seen with the naked eye or felt with the hands. People all over the world are now so terrified that they have lost the ability to think of their loved ones without themselves.

order to record the daily deeds of every human being, the Creator has appointed two angels, who are known as Kiraman-Katibin, the authors of the revered book. But they are invisible and like Corona, those angels cannot be seen, touched or felt. To this end, Allah says, ‘Remember, two angels sit to his right and to his left and write down his deeds. They have a watchman to record what people say ‘(Surah Kaf, verses 16-17). And he also said, “His companion the angels will say, ‘This is the Book of Reckoning which I have prepared’ ‘(Surah Kaf, verse: 23). ‘All their activities are in the book of Psalms. Everything, big or small, is written in it ‘(Surah Qamar, verse: 5253). As much as people are afraid of the invisible Corona, it is a far cry to be afraid of writing a book by Kiraman-Katibin, considering it a myth.

If mankind, especially Muslims, had believed that one day an invisible force would be observing and documenting all its actions, they would not be competing to transgress. There is a clear explanation of transgression in various verses of the Qur’an, some of which are mentioned below: The punishment cannot be averted ‘(Surah Jumu’ah, verses 32-51).

Warning the transgressors, Allah says, ‘Warn them of the day to come, when their souls will be in distress. There is no intimate friend for the transgressors, no intercessor whose intercession will be accepted ‘(Surah Al-Muminun, verse 18). Allah further says, “The transgressors have no guardian, nor any helper” (Surah Ash-Shura, verse 6). “I destroyed the people of those towns when they transgressed, and I set a time for their destruction” (Surah Al-Kahf, verse 59).

Man transgresses in order to satisfy his desires, transgresses in order to own unlimited wealth. After death, his children become the owners of the wealth acquired by transgressing the boundaries, but it is not uncommon for this child to be by his side in difficult times. In a recent incident, Captain Majed, who was convicted of absconding for 24 years on a death warrant, came to Bangladesh, perhaps secretly to spend his last days with his children. According to the provisions of the prison code, despite being given a chance to see close relatives before the execution (published in the newspaper), his children did not come to the prison to see Majed for the last time. However, there may be other reasons behind this. However, it is evident from the overall stain that material interests do not mean father-child relationship. The interest in the world is big, Whether he is a parent or a child? Although the incident is an isolated incident, there is no shortage of such examples. This is to say in the veil, the creator is yours. In times of calamity he delivers one or another of mankind, casts a shadow; If anyone surrenders to him asking for forgiveness.

According to environmentalists, the coronavirus has brought good times for the balance of the environment. Nature is compensating for the loss of biodiversity caused by the oppression of mankind. The exhilaration of dolphins on Kuakata beach, the adornment of youth with a beautiful collection of red crabs on Cox’s Bazar beach, the beautiful scene of a baby hatching from a tortoise’s egg on St. Martin’s Seaweed Island are now appearing in the media. A group of young people are giving cooked food to the humanitarians by serving cooked food to the hungry dogs and cats in Chittagong city. Besides, the news of the arrest of members, chairmen, leaders of government parties and dealers for embezzling government relief rice on the black market has burdened the minds of the people.

This world is a combination of good and bad. But the number of bad is many times more than good. Conscience is repeatedly slapped by self-interest, being humiliated, disgraced, humiliated. Influential people from small families, neighborhoods and villages are making the world unbalanced in the conflict of interests at the state and international level, as a result the world has become uninhabitable.
The human race is ignorant of religious formalities, except for some atheist or rhetorical intellectuals. But does not implement religious ideals in conflict of interest. It is essential for Muslims to believe that every action of every human being is constantly recorded by the Kiraman-Katibin (respected author) in charge of the Creator of the Word; But Muslims either do not believe or are not afraid to record this. But they are afraid of the tiny invisible coronavirus. This world is different, the actions and knowledge of different people (!).
