“The BNP is provoking the people by not standing by their side,” he said
Shipping Minister Khalid Mahmud Chowdhury has alleged that the BNP is provoking the people by not standing by them during the difficult times.
“We see that the people of the country are always trying to capitalize on their own interests, in some places they are provoking,” he said. You have to be aware of them.
He made the allegation at a function to distribute Iftar items among the unemployed at Teghra High School ground in Biral upazila of Dinajpur district on Saturday (April 25). He also distributed Iftar items at various places in his constituency.
This was informed in a press release of the Ministry of Shipping
Khalid Mahmud said, BNP is not distributing relief in these difficult times, nor is it looking for the people. The opposite is provoking the people. We have the news. I want to make it clear that the law enforcement agencies will take strict action against any instigator if they get information. He urged everyone to abide by the government’s directives to deal with the corona virus.
The Minister of Shipping said that no one in the world has been able to coordinate the relief distribution and treatment of the Prime Minister. Corona infection is less in our country from Europe-America due to proper management.
He said the Prime Minister’s strategy in dealing with Corona has been praised by all, including the United Nations, the IMF and the World Health Organization. Regional cooperation of SAARC countries is being discussed through video conferencing. At a time when the bond between the people of Bangladesh under the leadership of the Prime Minister is turning into a regional bond, confusion is spreading inside the country with the BNP and other political parties talking about the task force. It’s too scary. We have to be careful.
He said Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has brought the whole country under one umbrella. Which no one has done before.
Khalid Mahmud said, doctors, police, field administration are all working with responsibility. Elected people’s representatives and Awami League leaders are also working.
He said the Prime Minister himself was looking for people all over the country. No one will go without eating, no one will get sick without eating. Let us know if anyone you know has a problem with food.
On the same day, the Shipping Minister distributed Iftar items among 5,000 families at 9 spots in his constituency. Besides, relief distribution will also continue, he said.
The state minister was accompanied by local administration and Awami League leaders.
