Is there a possibility of preventing corona in shoes and hair?

You don’t go out easily. Stay at home. But that day he went to the neighborhood store to buy some emergency medicine. Stay at least two hands away from anyone else. Back home, he washed his hands well with soap in accordance with the hygiene rules. The face mask is soaked in a mug of soapy water. Thinking there is no problem. But have you ever wondered if your clothes, hair, and shoes are infected with the coronavirus?

We know that if someone speaks from two to four feet away, the virus will not spread to you. Of course, if you sneeze or cough loudly, it is safe to stay six feet away. That’s all right. But there are exceptions in some cases. Shoes, of course. If a corona patient spits on a paved road, it will stay there for at least five hours and you will go home with your shoes on. For that, take off your pair of shoes and enter your flat. Never wear sandals indoors. We all know these words now. But, clothes, hair?

The New York Times wrote about these issues a week ago (April 16, updated April 18, 2020). In consultation with the experts, they gave some urgent advice. Don’t take the matter of clothes. Do you have to wash your clothes and take a bath when you return home? Research has shown that, no, you don’t need so much all the time. To understand this we need to know a few general rules of aerodynamics. We know that during talking or sneezing or coughing, the virus travels some distance with tiny water droplets and falls to the ground. But if you speak a little louder or sneeze or cough, it floats in the air for some distance. At this time, if we walk through that area, the droplets will usually pass by us and float in the air, not on the clothes.

Why not get the virus on clothes?

“We usually walk slowly,” explains Linsey Marr, an aerosol scientist at Virginia Tech. Due to the speed of the movement, the wind in the front will push a little and pass through both sides with the droplets. That’s why droplets floating in the air don’t usually fit in our clothes. For example, we see that if a car moves slowly, its front glass needs less dust. But it takes more if you walk hard. The same thing happens when we walk. However, if someone comes in front of you and spits, or sneezes or coughs very loudly, then you must wash the clothes back home. But if that weren’t the case, the tiny airborne particles that carry the virus would pass through both sides of the road as a general rule of physics, and would not cling to clothes. If the droplets were too heavy, the problem would be, But the droplets are so small that they are almost impossible to wear. So it is possible to take off the clothes used outside and hang them on the hanger in the verandah for a few hours. Other fabrics can be used to enter the house.

However, scientists have repeatedly warned that all these things must be very careful. You have to keep an eye on the way, when it is happening less, who is going around, how and so on. Keep your eyes and ears open at all times.

What is the risk of hair loss?
We don’t usually think about hair. Just as the risk of getting a virus on clothes is generally low, there is nothing to worry about in the case of hair. Washington University School of Medicine St. Louis Children’s Hospital pediatric infectious disease specialist. Dr. Andrew Janowski said, “Suppose someone sneezes loudly from behind you.” Several viruses got into the hair. Then you must be at risk. But how much risk? You have to put your hand in the back hair. After that if you touch that hand nose-eye you will be infected with the virus. It is a long process. There is no risk. But very little. Of course, if there is such fear, it is better to take a bath back home.

Vitamin-D
Vitamin-D is very necessary during this fear of corona. It helps in the synthesis of minerals like calcium, phosphorus etc. in the body. Strengthens our teeth and bones. However, more vitamin-D is needed at this time. Because it enhances muscles, nerves and immunity. This vitamin is obtained from sunlight. In addition, vitamin-D is found in eggs, fatty fish, milk and cereals. This vitamin needs plenty.

Regular Exercise
This time you need to do some special exercises at home in lockdown. Breathing and stretching must be done among them. Exercise twice a day for just five minutes in the morning and evening. Take a deep breath. Hold for a few seconds and release with one stroke. Do this several times. And for stretching, move all the joints of the hands and feet lightly, touch the feet with the hands, turn the eyes lightly a few times and so on. Breathing and stretching can be done in different ways, nowadays google for its illustrated details.

Very light exercise. But keeps you fresh all the time.
