Google’s warning for 200 million Chrome users
Google recently updated the Chrome browser to protect the security of 200 million Chrome users. This has led to a number of controversial changes, security issues and concerns over information security. অনেকMany users are skeptical about the security of Google Chrome browser. Google recently warned of a serious security issue with their Chrome browser.
According to a Forbes report, Google has been asked to quickly update Chrome to avoid the new security flaw.
According to cybersecurity firm Sophos, Google has been quietly warning of serious security issues for Chrome browsers for Windows, Mac and Linux. Chrome also recommends updating the browser quickly. If you do not update to the latest version of Chrome (81.0.4044.113), the browser may fall into the wrong hands.
Google wrote that their browser (CVE-2020-6457) had a security flaw. This is a bug called Use After Free in Speech Recognizer. According to Sophos, this could change the flow of control within the program. This may instruct the CPU to run unreliable code that can be inserted into the device via external memory. This allows you to easily bypass the browser’s normal security test ‘R U Sure’ dialog. Cyber criminals can run code on a PC from a distance.
Google has already released the new version of Google Chrome (81.0.4044.113) for Windows, Mac and Linux. Click on the three dot symbols in the right corner of Chrome and go to About from Help to see the version of Chrome. If you are using the latest version, you are safe. If there are no newer versions, please update to the newer version quickly. In the new version, however, Google has brought a new feature called Tab Group which will be useful for managing your tabs.
