Due to the coronavirus crisis in the country, the distribution of humanitarian aid as a gift to the Prime Minister has started. 33,000 families in Faridpur district headquarters will get this assistance. These gift recipients have been given specific cards.
The Prime Minister’s humanitarian gift distribution program was inaugurated at Ishan Gopalpur Union in Sadar Upazila on Sunday. On the first day, gifts were distributed among 350 families.
Shahidul Islam Babul, chairman of Ishan Gopalpur Union, said the gifts would be distributed among 1,112 families in his union.
Faridpur Sadar Upazila Executive Officer. Masum Reza said the gifts were being distributed as humanitarian aid from the Prime Minister’s Fund to alleviate the plight of people who have lost their jobs due to the coronavirus. Gift cards will be distributed among 33,000 families in Sadar upazila
