Between March 1 and 23, barracuda researchers identified 4,7,625 phishing mail and e-mail attacks, of which 9,117 were coronavirus-related, accounting for 2 percent of all attacks. Last February, 1,017 types of coronavirus-related threats were identified.

Barracuda researchers say that coronaviruses are mainly attacked in the guise of theme scams, imitations of different brands and mails of different businesses.
