Public Administration Secretary Sheikh Yusuf Harun said all offices in the emergency service could be kept open to a limited extent.

The government has declared a general holiday from April 26 to April 30 and May 3-5 as a precautionary measure against the spread of the corona virus (Kovid-19) and its spread across the country, the order of the Ministry of Public Administration said. The weekly holidays on May 1 and 2 will also be associated with that holiday.

During the general holiday, all departments, including Dhaka, and 18 ministries and departments under the Prime Minister’s Office and the Cabinet Division at the district and upazila level have been instructed to remain open to a limited extent.
